You can also check out Heritage Farms, a community garden run by residents. Residents are welcome to rent plots, and it’s a great way to stay involved in the community.

Exploration and Education

Sea Pines is rich in history, and there are a few places where you can learn more about the area. The Stoney-Baynard Ruins were once a plantation and were later taken by the North during the Civil War. You can tour the Ruins and see the original home, the slave quarters, and more.

There’s also Six Oaks Cemetery. While it’s not as old as the ruins, there are six oak trees that are rumored to date back to 1665.
